Did you know there are at least 4 different knots
you can use to tie a tie?
The easiest and probably the one that suits most occasions is the
Four In Hand knot.
Drape the tie behind your neck, allowing the wide end and the
narrow end to hang in front of your chest. The wide end of the tie
hanging over your heart.
Pass the wide end on top of over the narrow end of the tie.
Pass the wide end back under the narrow end and across towards
your heart.
Pass the wide end back over the narrow towards your right
shoulder.
Now, bring the wide end the knot and up towards your chin.
Slip the wide end back down through the loop of the knot and
tighten it.
Holding the narrow end of the knot, pull it gently while you
push the knot up towards your chin as far as the collar allows.
